Project type
Painted cabinetry
A painted blue kitchen with a marble topped island, glazed upper display cabinets and an open plate rack.
Painted cabinetry is the quickest way to give a kitchen a point of view. A mid blue like this one sits comfortably against warm white walls and pale flooring, and it flatters both brass and brushed nickel hardware, which keeps your options open later.
The island here does the heavy lifting. A marble top over a painted base gives the room a natural focal point, and the open shelving underneath keeps a compact footprint from feeling solid.
Glazed upper doors and an open plate rack break up what would otherwise be a continuous run of cabinet fronts. It is worth deciding early how much you want on display, because glazed doors change how tidy the inside of a cabinet needs to be.
All four of our cabinet lines offer painted finishes in this family, and we can bring door samples out under your own kitchen light before you commit.
Other looks worth considering, all buildable from the cabinet lines and stone we carry.
